There's almost certainly going to be some discussion about treasure. There will be no treasure looted from the mansion that did not come off an NPC, save for two specific items that I will note here. There's simply too much stuff to have, ICly, a mansion's randsom on top.
Ancient Scrolls:
In the library are eight rolls of scrolls, in an ancient and archaic language that the Hypnogogian hardliners will recognize as old temple-script for their dark lord. The scrolls discuss the surface-temple's purpose, as well as it's ancient feud with followers of the 'light'. It also discusses [opportunity for plot device by Future DM's].
Tooneil Toolbox's Big Black Book of Tools:
This Blessed Book is an oddity indeed. A book dedicated entirely to the utilitarian, the tome is nothing but utility spell after utility spell: Mage Hand, Floating Disc, Dark Way, Unseen Servant, Unseen Lover, Detect Magic, Detect Poison, Identify, Tiny Hut... If it's Sorc/Wiz 3 or lower and a predominately utility spell, it's in the book. The book is nearly un-sellable due to it's incessantly specific nature and the inability to scribe spells to it, but you CAN scribe scrolls from it (given the requisite feats), or have other people give you money to scribe their scrolls from it.
In addition, the book comes with 5 charges, renewed each day at dawn:
One charge: Cast a level 1 utility spell as if from an arcane scroll, without needing to UMD
Three charges: As above, level 2 spells
Five charges: As above, level 3 spells
In addition, as long as the book has charges remaining, you may cast all 0th level utility spells at will as if from a scroll of the appropriate minimum level. These abilities are not subject to metamagic in any way.
The definition of Utility is large and by it's nature fairly arbitrary, but that doesn't mean we can't not be dicks about it. The Golden Rule of the Toolbox is the spirit of the rule, not the letter. What we don't agree on as being a Utility will be ignored as not being a Utility spell and therefore unusable until a consensus is agreed upon.
And the book is subject to change as we work out how it works.
