Mark Marc, mind if I rework Charir's spells and skills a bit to qualify for a prestige class I only recently discovered existed? It's nothing broken, just a class focused on fear effects. 4/5th spellcasting progression.

Dread Witch, Heroes of Herror.
And of course I don't need more fear effects, but it's an important part of Charir as a character. If he ever hits 21, he's picking up Name of the Mage so just HEARING the name Charir will force a save vs. fear. In fact, Dread Witch will probably do him more harm than good, but it's just so flavorfully delicious that I must have it.
And +10 to Intimidate checks is just fun (+2 per level, 5 level class)
